Huge smiles: Two 7.5 year olds and one mom got an amazing lesson today (plus the almost 4yo got some bonus waves - thank you..!). Instructors explained everything well and helped us feel confident in the water. All of us beginners but were able to ride the waves under careful supervision. Everything super professional. Playa Hermosa lives up to its name. We could not have been happier.

I just got back from Costa Rica and surfing with Pocket Wave instructors really made my trip! I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Both Shaka and Gero are amazing teachers. They really paid attention to what I needed to improve. I always felt safe and comfortable in the deep water. I’m only a beginner, but with their help I was able to get in the lineup and catch a bunch of great waves. So fun!

Amazing surf experience! The lesson was altered with time of day and beach to accommodate our levels of experience. The instructor also carefully picked out the waves that were appropriate for us, making sure that we were able to surf them🏄🏼‍♀️ Would definitely recommend!!

Their expertise was evident as they efficiently guided us through the fundamental aspects of surfing, allowing us to swiftly transition into surfing larger waves, just as we'd hoped. I couldn't recommend the Pocket Wave team enough for a surf lesson. I found them via insta (but check them out on TikTok too) and booked in for three lessons. From start to finish Shaka and the team are professional, experienced and made the lessons fun from start to finish. I felt like I really saw progression as a beginner and learnt lots of tips to take into my future surfing practise. 10/10 🤙🏼🏄‍♀️
